Shahkund : Villagers in Bakchappar village under Shahkund police station caught a youth who was moving around suspiciously and handed him over to the police. The villagers reportedly became suspicious of his activities and informed the police after stopping and questioning him. When the police arrived and searched the youth, 1.3 grams of brown sugar was allegedly recovered from his possession. Police have taken the youth into custody and started an investigation.

The arrested youth has been identified as Piyush Kumar, a resident of Kiranpur village under Shahkund police station. Police are investigating the source of the suspected narcotic substance and the reason for the youth’s presence in the area. Officers are also trying to determine who he was in contact with and whether he had previously been involved in any activity related to narcotics.

Villagers Caught Him After Noticing Suspicious Activity

According to information available, some villagers became suspicious after noticing the youth moving around Bakchappar village. They began keeping an eye on him. As their suspicion grew, the villagers stopped the youth and questioned him before informing the police.

After receiving the information, a police team reached the village and took the youth into custody. During a search, police allegedly recovered 1.3 grams of brown sugar from him. The youth was subsequently taken to the police station, where questioning began.
