Dense Clouds to Cover South Bihar Until August 30, Rain Expected Strong Winds and Thunderstorms Likely at Some Places; Tuesday’s Maximum Temperature Recorded at 32.1°C

Bhagalpur : The weather is expected to remain unsettled across the districts of South Bihar over the next few days. According to the weather forecast, dense clouds are likely to cover the skies of South Bihar between August 26 and August 30. During this period, some places may experience strong winds, thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall.

On Tuesday, the district recorded a maximum temperature of 32.1 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26.4 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels also remained high, contributing to humid conditions. The weather is expected to continue changing over the next several days, with clouds, rain and strong winds occurring at different times.

Weather to Remain Changeable

According to the forecast, weather conditions across South Bihar may remain variable over the coming days. Dense cloud cover may develop at different times, accompanied by strong winds and localised rainfall. While rainfall may provide some relief from the heat, high humidity could continue to cause uncomfortable and sticky conditions in some areas.

Rain and thunderstorm activity may continue across several parts of the region. People have been advised to remain alert and plan their daily activities according to changing weather conditions.

Caution Advised During Thunderstorms

Special caution is necessary during thunderstorms and strong winds. People should avoid standing in open fields, near water bodies or under trees when lightning is occurring. Farmers and workers engaged in outdoor activities should closely monitor weather conditions.

During lightning or strong winds, moving to a safe shelter is advisable. People should also maintain a safe distance from electric poles, damaged power lines and weak or damaged structures. Motorists may need to drive carefully during rainfall, as wet roads can become slippery and reduced visibility may increase the risk of accidents.

Rainfall Important for Farmers

The possibility of light to moderate rainfall is particularly important for farmers. Kharif crops, especially paddy, require adequate moisture. However, prolonged or heavy rainfall may also cause waterlogging in agricultural fields.

Farmers have been advised to maintain proper drainage arrangements and plan agricultural activities according to weather conditions. Spraying pesticides, harvesting or carrying out other farm work should be scheduled after considering the forecast.

Residents Advised to Monitor Weather Conditions

Due to the changing weather pattern, differences in temperatures may be felt between morning and evening. Cloud cover and rainfall could lead to a slight drop in daytime temperatures, while high humidity may continue to cause discomfort.
