Sultanganj/Bhagalpur (Special Correspondent): On the sacred occasion of Independence Day, an extremely breathtaking, grand, and inspiring spectacle of national love was witnessed on Wednesday in Sultanganj, a suburb of the Silk City situated on the banks of the Uttar Vahini Ganga, renowned worldwide for its mythological and historical significance. Drenched in the celebrations of the historic national festival of the country's 80th Independence Day, a massive, historic, and disciplined 'Har-Ghar Tiranga' Rally was organized under the auspices of the Nagar Parishad (Sultanganj Nagar Parishad). The primary objective of this Tiranga Yatra was to further strengthen the spirit of patriotism, national unity, integrity, and sovereignty among ordinary citizens. Commencement via Flag-Off by the Executive Officer: The formal start of the Tiranga Yatra was marked at the Sultanganj Nagar Parishad office premises. Here, Nagar Parishad Executive Officer Abhishek Anand formally flagged off this massive foot march following the national anthem. Several distinguished representatives of the town were also present alongside him.
Touring Major Markets and Historic Routes: Commencing from the Nagar Parishad office, this Tiranga Yatra passed through Sultanganj's main market, Station Chowk, Ajgaivinath Temple Road, and various bustling commercial areas. As this caravan moved forward amidst the beating of drums, band music, and patriotic songs, shopkeepers, mothers, sisters, and elders standing on both sides of the road showered flowers to give a rousing welcome to the yatra. Citizens from the rooftops and balconies of several houses saluted the tricolour.
