According to the latest data released by public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), the prices of gas cylinders across the country continue to hold steady at their preceding levels. Although the beginning of the month witnessed significant reductions in commercial LPG cylinder rates, the absence of any fresh price adjustments today has offered consumers a sense of stability.
Status of Domestic Gas Cylinders (14.2 kg)
Prices for 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders used in households remain steady without any fluctuations:
Rates in Metros: In the national capital New Delhi, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder remains stable at ₹942.00, in Mumbai at ₹941.50, in Kolkata at ₹968.00, and in Chennai at ₹957.50.
Status in Bihar and Patna: In Bihar's capital Patna and other districts, rates for 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinders are anchored at levels from previous months, where it is available in Patna at approximately ₹1,031.50 per cylinder. Domestic consumers do not have to face any additional price hikes for this.
Commercial LPG Cylinder (19 kg) Rates Also Stable
Prices for 19 kg commercial gas cylinders used in hotels, restaurants, dhabas, and other commercial establishments also remain steady at their established levels today:
Relief for the Business Sector: At the beginning of the month, oil companies provided major relief by cutting commercial cylinder prices heavily, since which rates have remained steady. From New Delhi to other major metropolitan cities across the country, commercial gas prices are trading at old stable figures.
Help in Cost Control: Recent reductions in commercial rates and current stability have kept monthly operational costs under control for hoteliers and food-service business operators, granting them substantial business relief.
