Bhagalpur, Special Correspondent: A highly significant program dedicated to the safety, self-confidence, and self-respect of women and female students commenced on Monday at the auditorium of the prestigious Sundarwati Mahila Mahavidyalaya (S.M. College) in Silk City Bhagalpur. Organized under the joint auspices of the Rotary Club of Vikramshila and the Rotary Club of Vikramshila Pink, the first day of this three-day 'Mukka Maar' Women's Self-Defense Training Camp witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm among the college's female students. The event was formally inaugurated by chief guests through the lighting of a lamp, the national anthem, and a mesmerizing welcome song. The primary objective of this camp is to make college students physically and mentally capable of defending themselves in adverse situations.

Practical Self-Defense Lessons by the Red Brigade Team
Immediately following the inaugural session, the renowned expert training team of the 'Red Brigade' commenced its first training session, in which hundreds of S.M. College students participated eagerly and with great enthusiasm.
Practical Training: During the session, trainers instructed students in very simple, practical, and effective methods of protecting themselves from antisocial elements or during emergency crises.
Utilizing the Sixth Sense: Gynecologist Dr. Varsha Sinha, present at the camp, raised awareness among students regarding health and self-respect, offering invaluable advice on utilizing their 'sixth sense' (intuition) correctly during crises. Meanwhile, advocate Meenakshi Kumari provided girls with detailed information regarding their legal rights and various statutory provisions related to women's safety.
