Darbhanga: With the objective of making school education more interesting, creative, and activity-based, a special initiative is being taken for teachers in the Darbhanga district. A five-day workshop based on Theatre Arts will be organized for teachers with the cooperation of the District Education Department and related cultural institutions.

Main Outline and Dates of the Workshop

Date of Event: This workshop will be held from July 27 to July 31.

Number of Participants: Approximately 150 teachers from various schools across the district will participate in this residential/non-residential training camp.

Main Objective: The primary objective of this training is to develop theatrical skills among teachers so that they can move away from traditional teaching methods and make classroom teaching more creative, entertaining, and activity-based.

Helpful in Making Teaching Effective

Educationists believe that by learning acting, dialogue delivery, and other aspects of drama, teachers will be able to better understand the psychology of students.

All-round Development of Students: The use of theatre arts and play-way learning methods in classrooms will help remove stage fright in children and expand their imagination.

Proficient and Capable Teachers: During the workshop, renowned theatre artists and subject experts will train teachers in the application of dramaturgy in children's education, stage management, and communication skills.

Preparations by the Education Department

All preparations have been completed by the district administration and the Education Department to ensure the success of the training program. Upon the conclusion of the workshop, participation certificates will be awarded to all teachers so they can implement and spread these methods among students in their respective schools.
