Sabour/Bhagalpur (Special Correspondent): The entire Bhagalpur district and its Silk City have been completely drenched in the celebrations of the historic, sacred, and national festival of the country's 80th Independence Day. Exactly a day prior to Independence Day on Wednesday, an extremely breathtaking, grand, and inspiring spectacle of national love, unity, and enthusiasm was witnessed in Barari Panchayat of Sabour block. Under the nationwide 'Har-Ghar Tiranga' campaign being conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the central government and district administration, a massive and historic Tricolour Rally was organized in Barari Panchayat. The greatest hallmark of this foot march was that its efficient administrative and public-participatory leadership was spearheaded jointly by Sabour Block Development Officer (BDO) Nitish Kumar, Circle Officer (CO) Divya Kumari, and the popular Mukhia of Barari Panchayat, Jaykaran Paswan. Waving the tricolour flag in their hands, this caravan of administrative officials, public representatives, teachers, school children, and hundreds of rural citizens colored the entire Barari region in hues of patriotism.
The Caravan's Journey Commences from Barari Panchayat Headquarters and Route Covered
Since Wednesday morning, the atmosphere of the Barari Panchayat Bhavan premises, rural roads, and surrounding areas in Sabour block wore a completely transformed and festive look:
Commencement via Joint Flag-Off by Administrative Officials and Mukhia: The formal start of the Tiranga Yatra was marked at the Barari Panchayat Bhavan premises. Here, BDO Nitish Kumar, CO Divya Kumari, and Mukhia Jaykaran Paswan jointly flagged off this massive foot march following the national anthem.
Touring Rural Roads and Residential Hamlets: Commencing from the panchayat headquarters, this Tiranga Yatra passed through the main markets of Barari Panchayat, internal rural routes, various hamlets, and historic sites. As this caravan moved forward amidst the beating of drums and patriotic songs, rural citizens, mothers, sisters, and elders standing on both sides of the road showered flowers to give a rousing welcome to the yatra. Citizens from the rooftops of several houses saluted the tricolour.

Thoughts of BDO Nitish Kumar: Block Development Officer Nitish Kumar stated in his address that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the 'Har-Ghar Tiranga' campaign aim to awaken the sense of duty toward the nation within every citizen. Discipline and Zeal of School Children: Student boys and girls from various schools in the Barari Panchayat area marched in queues throughout the yatra holding small tricolour flags. Children continuously raised slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', 'Vande Mataram', and 'Inquilab Zindabad' along the entire route. Contribution of Rural Youth and Elders: Youths and farmers arriving from various villages of the panchayat advanced holding tricolours. Elders also joined this yatra and profusely praised this spirit of the youth.
