Threat to Life! Nitish Jha, Resident of Ward-6, Seeks Protection from SP, Alleges Third Assassination Attempt

NAUGACHIA (Bhagalpur): A serious issue concerning law and order has surfaced in Ward Number-6 of Simra Panchayat in the Naugachia sub-division. Nitish Jha, alias Bablu Jha, a resident of the village, has submitted a written application to the Superintendent of Police (SP), pleading for the protection of his life. Nitish Jha has leveled grave allegations against an influential person from the same village, accusing him of repeatedly launching lethal attacks and threatening him with death.

A Conspiracy to Take Life for the Third Time?

In his application, Nitish Jha mentioned that this is the third such incident of an attack on him. He stated that he had been subjected to life-threatening attacks twice before, from which he narrowly escaped with his life. According to Nitish, in the most recent incident, the accused once again stopped him on the road and attempted to kill him, creating an atmosphere of terror within his family.

The victim claims that the accused is repeatedly targeting him due to an old rivalry. Constant threats have made it difficult for him to even step out of his house. He has questioned the administration, asking if they are waiting for someone to be killed before taking action.

Hopes for Justice from the Superintendent of Police

Through his application, Nitish Jha has demanded that the Superintendent of Police conduct an impartial investigation into the entire matter and take strict action against the culprit. He stated that despite filing complaints at the local level, the morale of the accused remains undeterred, making him feel that his life is in danger at any moment.

He has pleaded with the SP to provide him with protection with immediate effect so that he and his family can remain safe. The SP’s office, after receiving the application and considering the gravity of the matter, has directed the local police station to take appropriate action.

Terror Grips the Village

The incident involving Nitish Jha is being discussed throughout the Simra Panchayat. Villagers state that such threats and attacks in broad daylight are creating an atmosphere of fear in society. Although no official statement has been released by the accused side yet, local residents are demanding immediate intervention from the administration to ensure peace in the village.

Administration's Response and Legal Process

According to police sources, the case is being treated with priority following the receipt of the application. The police are investigating what actions were taken on previously filed complaints and are now taking legal steps against the accused following the new application. The police have assured that no guilty individual will be spared, regardless of how influential they may be.

A Question of Security and Justice

This case involving Nitish Jha is less about personal safety and more a symbol of the high-handedness of criminal elements prevalent in society. Allegations of repeated life-threatening attacks suggest that failing to take the matter seriously could invite a major tragedy. Now, all eyes are on the police administration’s actions—specifically, how quickly they apprehend the accused and reassure Nitish Jha and his family of their safety.
